Beginning at 3.30pm, the event will feature a keynote presentation and Q&A by Anna Coote, newspaper columnist and Head of Social Policy at the New Economics Foundation. Anna will discuss the wider economic, social and political framework in which the arts and cultural sector are operating and offer new perspectives on the challenges to and potential for the arts in this rapidly changing landscape. CLP’s Director Hilary Carty and W2W judges; Jenny Sealey, Kwame Kwei Armah & Sarah Weir, will be hosting discussion tables on themes such as:
- Balancing career progression with raising a family
- How to get the best out of networks & networking
- Beyond W2W – continued leadership development
- Understanding & influencing national policy & strategy
- Business development and change management
- International practice.
An evening reception will round off the day with networking, food, wine and speeches by David Kershaw, Chief Executive of M&C Saatchi & chair of CLP & and Jude Kelly, Director of the Southbank Centre as well as hearing from the Women themselves about what they have gained personally and professionally from the programme.
